How To Create A Long-Lasting Financial Freedom Plan

We all desire financial success in our lives. We try different strategies to see which works best. Then stick to that strategy. Chris Brogan once said, “The goal isn’t more money. The goal is living life on your own terms.” How to create a long-lasting financial freedom plan that will eventually work requires patience; a lot of it. Might come in handy when purchasing a home or your first investment property.

Most importantly how does one achieve this? What will work best for you? Will it even work? I’m a 23-year-old starting out on an investment journey that will ultimately help me be financially free.

This blog will be a series on how to create a long-lasting financial freedom plan. It doesn’t matter where you are in life; early 20’s, the mid-’20s, 30s, 40’s, or 50’s. It is for you. Some will already have the basics and are aware of them while for others this will be a beginner or step by step strategy.

So What Is Financial Freedom And How To Create A Long-Lasting Financial Freedom Plan?

Although it has different meanings it all comes down to having enough income without worrying about tomorrow’s debts, paying off all your expenses, and still having some left to enjoy life. However, what does it really mean to you? For instance, to me, it means having the freedom to do what I want, whenever I want, and having lots of free uninterrupted time to chase my other goals.

Therefore, before moving forward some of the choices for financial freedom for you may mean:

  • Retiring at 30
  • Traveling 3 to 4 times a year
  • Quitting a 9 to 5 job to pursue a passion
  • Owning a home and doing away with rental bills
  • Having an investment property to secure your future

The options are many; it is up to you to decide what it really means. Above all, for this plan to be successful, it will involve being positive from the very start. Additionally, surround yourself with like-minded people. Firstly, differentiate your goals from theirs, and set your own goals.
